Please note: The salt mills require regular maintenance. We recommend regular removal of the lid to check for any salt contacting metal and for any corrosion occurring between lid and body. Also check the base where metal may be in contact with salt crystals when stored. Give the area under the lid and inside lid a quick clean with dry cloth and ideally an oil with camellia oil before replacing the lid. We recommend this be done weekly.
